DNS 2-Day Sports Workshop

The DNS Sports Course will help DNS clinicians add new insights and skills for the athlete for both therapeutic and performance optimization. Dr. Valoucova is a renowned DNS sports rehabilitation and performance therapist who has taught these courses around the world. This is a course designed to provide additional insights into DNS, while helping to hone skills and increase the clinician’s confidence in the utilization of this demanding methods of locomotor system optimization. This course registration is limited due to the hands-on nature of the workshop. 


Course Attendees will:

 

-Discuss typical errors in utilizing Kolar's methods 

-Demonstrate more complete movement patterns associated with stepping forward, reflex turning & reflex crawling. This will provide critical information that describes optimal movement patterns, justify contacts and vectors, and allows the clinician to alter from baseline contacts and positions while maintaining the goal of centration. 

-Review and correct the Reflex Stimulation positions, support/stimulating zones and vectors. 

-Functional stabilization of the spine 

-Correction of poor stereotypical respiration.

 

Course Attendees will possess:

-Increased confidence in their skills to practically utilize important DNS tests to evaluate the integrated stabilizing system of the spine. 
-Increased confidence in their skills to utilize reflex locomotion techniques to improve the function of the integrated stabilizing system of the spine. 
-Increased confidence in their skills to utilize critical exercise strategies to optimize the integrated stabilizing system of the spine.
